I am Dr. Lorena Benavides, a dentist graduated from Colombia Dental College in Cali- Colombia. With more than 10 years of experience in this sector, recognized for my abilities in dental aesthetics and oral rehabilitation. My mission is to create beautiful and natural smiles that restore the comfort and enthusiasm of laughing for my patients at all times of their lives.

I have an excellent team of specialists, who have the best technology and highest quality supplies to give you a reliable smile that lasts for many years.

Trajectory

Starting in 2014, I began to practice my profession in several clinics in the city of Cali as a staff dentist, through recognized health promoting entities (EPS), Comfandi, Comfenalco, ECO dental group, etc. During all this time I gained great experience in dental health and oral rehabilitation, which today makes it easier for me to make any type of diagnosis quickly and accurately. Parallel to this, I opened my private practice where I specialized in dental aesthetics.

I am currently recognized for my beautiful smile designs in ceramic and resin materials, which maintain a very natural approach and meet the expectations of all my patients.

Ceramic veneers

Smile design in which we cover the teeth with sheets of a resistant material called ceramic, which allows us to modify the size, color, and shape of the teeth, having very natural results and, above all, preserving the health of the tooth.

Mini smile design

As its name indicates, it is a small smile design, in which we polish the edges of the teeth and apply resin if necessary, in order to achieve greater symmetry and aesthetics.

Dental implants

Procedure that aims to recover a lost tooth, it´s done through a mechanism that recreates not only the crown of the tooth but also the root. Returning the functionality of the tooth with biocompatible materials such as titanium.

    Frequently asked questions

    The tooth should not always be worn down, it depends on how they are positioned and the size of your teeth. It also depends on the final size you want them. We can make a design for you with minimal or no wear if you wish.

    Ceramic veneers can last up to 15 years, but this will depend on the care you take with them. Avoiding eating hard things as much as possible and of course proper hygiene will help your design last longer.

    Over the years the color and brightness of the ceramic veneer is maintained because it is made of a material that does not allow stains to adhere, however excessive consumption of dark drinks and use of smoke products can make them opaque, but in a much smaller proportion than that of natural tooth.

    This procedure is completely outpatient and more than painful it can be uncomfortable in cases where the tooth must be worn down a lot, which is why we use local anesthesia if the patient requires it or simply desires it.

    The assembly of the ceramic veneers is done in two sessions of two hours each, first is the preparation where we mold the teeth so that in the second session we can insert the lenses to each tooth. This procedure is done in 4 days, which is how long it generally takes for the laboratory to manufacture your veneers to your size.
